Why Valley Solar

Built Differently for Long-Term Accountability

Valley Solar was built around a simple idea: the true measure of a solar company isn't installation day—it's how well the system performs and how well it's supported over the years that follow.

Long-term accountability requires more than good intentions. It requires people, systems, and infrastructure intentionally built to support customers long after installation is complete.

01

Built for Service

Many solar companies focus primarily on sales and installation. Valley Solar invested early in dedicated service infrastructure because we believe support is part of the product. Monitoring, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and long-term system support are core operational functions—not afterthoughts.

02

In-House Teams

Design, engineering, installation, electrical work, monitoring, and service are coordinated by Valley Solar's in-house teams. Fewer handoffs create clearer communication, stronger accountability, and a more consistent customer experience throughout the life of the system.

03

Ready for What's Next

Solar is rarely the end of the conversation. Many homeowners eventually add battery storage, backup power, EV charging, electrical upgrades, or other energy technologies. Valley Solar designs systems with long-term flexibility in mind and has the expertise to support those additions when the time is right.

04

Performance You Can Count On

Every Valley Solar system includes SunAlert™ proactive monitoring and is backed by our 95% Production Guarantee. Rather than simply installing systems and hoping they perform, we actively monitor production, identify issues early, and stand behind the results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Valley Solar

Why choose a local solar installer?

A local installer is accountable in ways a national company simply isn't. They're part of your community, their reputation depends on every installation, and they have to live with the decisions they make. Valley Solar has been serving Western Massachusetts since 2015 — and we plan to be here for the full life of every system we install.

Do you use subcontractors?

Never. Every person involved in your project — from design to installation to service — is a full-time Valley Solar employee. Every person on your roof is a licensed Valley Solar electrician or apprentice, trained and background-checked by our team. This is one of the most important questions to ask any solar company.

How long has Valley Solar been in business?

Valley Solar was founded in 2015 and has been continuously operating in Western Massachusetts ever since. We've completed more than 2,000 installations, operate a full dedicated service department, and support systems across the region. We're locally owned and aren't going anywhere.

What happens after installation?

Once your system goes live, we enroll you in SunAlert™ monitoring at no extra cost. Our team monitors your system 24/7 and responds proactively if performance drops. You'll receive a performance audit within weeks of activation, and our dedicated service department is available for repairs, maintenance, and anything that comes up over the life of your system.

What makes Valley Solar different from other local installers?

Scale and depth. Most local installers are smaller operations with limited service capacity. Valley Solar has the volume of a regional contractor — 2,000+ installations, 800+ battery systems — while remaining locally owned and operated. That means you get sophisticated monitoring programs, a full-time dedicated service team, and the financial backing of a company large enough to honor long-term commitments.
